Cloverfield is a full service veterinary hospital that offers a wide range of services which include, but are not exclusively limited to; preventive care, general surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, in-house laboratory services and digital radiology, vaccination programs, heartworm treatments, health certificates, and sedate cat shave-downs . Our surgical suite is fully equipped for most soft tissue surgeries. One day a week is devoted to low cost spay and neuters. We work closely with the Foothills Humane Society http://www.foothillshumanesociety.org/ . Technician appointments are also available for nail trims, anal gland expression, and other continuous care treatments.
We now offer Wellness Plans to help our clients provide preventive and wellness care for their pets through an affordable monthly payment plan.
Products offered directly at our hospital: Vaccines from Merial (IMRAB, Purevax and Recombitk). In-house heartworm prevention includes: Sentinel Plus, Iverhart Plus tablets, Pro-Heart injections (last for 6 months),and Revolution for cats. Microchipping. Flea prevention include Frontline Plus and Nexgard (flea and tick chewable tablet). CET dental rawhide chews; Red Dingo name tags, and a full instock pharmacy for medications and skin products. Cloverfield has expanded its services to assist local farm animals. This includes goat, sheep, and cattle. EQUINE SERVICES ARE LIMITED TO ESTABLISHED CLIENTS UTILIZING OUR SMALL ANIMAL SERVICES.
Health services provided are:
1) preventive care: Vaccinations, Fecal exams, De-worming, Herd health assessments.
2) production services: Castration, Dehorning, Pregnancy checks, Estrus and ovulation synchronization, Artificial insemination.
3) sick & emergency services: dystocia, mastitis, respiratory disease, hoof complications, toxemia, and other disorders
Farm calls begin at a rate of $60 per thirty minutes if the farm is within 10 miles of Cloverfield. An additional charge of $1 per mile is added there after. Animals need to be under proper restraint upon arrival.
Dr. Boggs recently completed training at North Carolina State's Small Ruminant facility for artificial insemmination of goats. AI services and herd synchronizations are now being offered. Dr. Boggs is a USDA accredited veterinarian and can offer health certificates and Coggins for traveling animals.
